What our charities have said about our Musica Charity Choir MK:
15th July: “I am overwhelmed with compliments on the concert on Saturday evening. It was superb! Thank you all so much.”
”Such talent – so professional.. so generous of you all to give your time and energies and to such good effect. It makes me smile that your strap-line is ‘something for everyone’ as each person who has spoken to me about the concert has indicated a different favourite piece!” F. Organiser
20th May 2023. Abington St Peter and Paul: “I’ve never enjoyed a music evening more!” D. organiser
From Willen Hospice: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all of you for supporting our events through your services. It is with people and companies like you who keep our events running. We genuinely wouldn’t be able to deliver our events to the standard they are without all of your generosity and kindness towards the Hospice!“. Harriet, Katrina and Lisa. Willen Hospice
Thank you again from all of us at Medical Detection Dogs for your continued support. Not only have you raised essential funds but the awareness you have raised locally for our charity is invaluable to us. We need to raise over £50,000 every week to train our life saving dogs and we hope you are really proud to have played a part in helping us to do this.
With kind regards,

Saturday 17th December 2022, St Barnabas, Leighton Buzzard:
Thank you for such a wonderful concert last night! It really gave a lovely Christmas feeling! I especially loved the end slot and now we are able to turn our lights off, we got the full effect, which made it very atmospheric. Thank you, too, for all the money raised for us, it is very much appreciated. Please convey our thanks to all the Choir. AT
Saturday 3rd December 2022, Little Houghton Church:
Each time you come to Little Houghton, your Concerts get better, and Iam certain that none of the audience on Saturday evening would disagree! Apart from the many expressions of appreciation as people left, the parting question put by not a few was – ‘when is the next one?’
Words seem hardly adequate enough to express our grateful thanks to you all – my only hope is that the warmth with which you were welcomed back to Little Houghton goes some
way to making up for the cold church- it could, and should not, have been.
You will have been delighted to hear from Alex that the amount raised amounted to. £1,525.88.
But of course the money is only one aspect, albeit an important one.
Having been about in this village for a little while, I know that such a gathering is not only good for the image of the Church, but equally for the spirit of goodwill that it generates in the community.
So it is our privilege, once again, to thank you for organizing the evening with Alex, and all the members of the Choir and soloists for the singing, Conductor Ken for getting the audience in the right mood, and Accompanist Ed for his thrilling playing.
We are deeply grateful to you all.
And we send our very best wishes to you for the rest of this year, and all that you plan to do in 2023.
Yours, as ever, J

Our Honorary Club Treasurer has just confirmed that the total profit we made was £4000 exactly (after one kind soul rounded up the small shortfall). Thanks to Ken Storry and the Musica Charity Choir MK for making this event possible; we are most grateful, as will be the beneficiaries. Please pass on my thanks and the thanks of the Rotary Club of Epping and the whole audience for a wonderful evening’s entertainment. Our immediate thoughts are now turning to the possibility of a repeat visit! DW

Saturday 23rd July 2022, The Mead Centre, Newport Pagnell:
“……the overwhelming response to the performance was one of sheer admiration for the wonderful performance and professionalism from the choir. Please extend our thanks to Ken, Ed and all the singers for a super evening. There were quite a few “first timers” attending a Musica event and we have had numerous inquiries as to “when is the next one?”P., event organiser.
Thank you to you and all the choir for such a wonderful evening. Everyone I have spoken to really enjoyed the music and I have had some lovely ‘feedback’ emails.I have had a quick count and we appear to have made just over £700 profit which is marvellous. But it is not always about the money, ( useful as it will be), it was so nice to be able to get together again, as a village, after ‘lockdown’.Hope to see and hear you all again soonThank you once again. B. Event organiser.
The long awaited return of “Musica MK Choir” to St Lawrence Church in Broughton took place in May 2022 and as we expected they did not disappoint. This Choir’s love of singing comes across loud and clear, their enthusiasm and love of music is infectious and a joy to watch and all done for the benefit of charity. Everyone left the Church with a smile on their face and feeling positive about getting out again to hear live music. We cannot thank them enough.K. M. Event organiser for St Lawrence Church.
How much we enjoyed the Choir’s visit to Little Houghton eighteen months ago! Now – what about your second visit last Saturday evening? Once again, I was privileged to hear so many of the comments as people left the church, but this time I find it much harder to pass on all that was said, so full of appreciation was it.
Perhaps the thing that stood out most was the question ‘when is the next one?’……..
…. I am glad to have this opportunity to send you and all members of the choir our most grateful thanks, with our best wishes for your continued success in the future. You will be delighted to hear that the evening at Little Houghton raised the magnificent sum of £2042.80, and that the attendance numbered a little over 160.
Most Sincerely, John Ford, for Little Houghton Church.December 2018:
Dear Ken and all the talented singers of the Choir. On behalf of all the Trustees and the beneficiaries of the HOMSA Charity, I write to say a sincere thank you to you and your gifted singers. The Dec. 2018 Christmas Musical Concert at St Mary’s Church in Bletchley raised just under £3000 with over 150 persons attending an event that was simply magical. It set the mood of the folk in the correct festive spirit with audience participation, fun, excitement and jollity while remaining very musically competent and professional. This is a near impossible combination of talent to achieve, but your versatile choir simply did it! There was appreciation from all those attending as expressed by their whole hearted applauses. The Musica Charity Choir and its precursor Andante have voluntarily sung for almost 15 years at our Christmas events regularly also for a few Summer events. Through your efforts we have raised in the region of £40,000 for the worthy charitable causes we have been engaged with in bringing hope and comfort to the disadvantaged persons in Sri Lanka and Southern India. For giving of your time and talent free for the Charity we as Trustees express our sincere gratitude and wish each member of the Choir the very best as they use their gifting for the betterment of others.
Thank you,
Yours sincerely, Revd Dr Sam Muthuveloe.
General Secretary
The concert on Saturday was brilliant and much appreciated. Ken was very good engaging the audience when he introduces the pieces, as well as conducting. You sang like angels. There were such moving songs, very beautiful. The solos were lovely. (Oak Tree Court – Deaf children’s charity)
I do wish to thank the choir for a truly splendid evening … the evening with you stood out as especially enjoyable for everyone. (Oaktree Court, Willen, for Hope Outreach UK, National Deaf Society & Sense, Milton Keynes)
What a wonderful evening. What music. What voices. What joy. … on behalf of everyone there I say a huge THANK YOU. I would not have missed it for the world. (St Mary’s Little Houghton, Northants)
I was able to stand in the Church porch afterwards and to hear the many comments as people left, and they were without exception fulsome in their appreciation … in addition to the pleasure that you gave to that large audience, the evening raised £1,160 for Church funds. Thank you all for giving us such a happy, successful and memorable evening. (Little Houghton Church treasurer, Northants)
